Alexander the great is from Ancient Macedonia. Though the Ancient Macedonians and Macedonians in current Macedonia are different, the hero composes at least a bit of Macedonian's pride.

1,The guard of a game-center in Struga

offered us* a cup of coffee, asked if we need something to eat, even tried to offer us accommodation, said nothing about Albanians. (NB in Struga, Albanian's reputation among Macedonians is pretty bad. Most of Macedonians mentioned bad things about Albanians to us.)

* At that time, we're accompanied with several Albanian guys and it is always not so difficult for Macedonians to recognize Albanians

2,The girls in disco in Struga

"They're beautiful!!" We could never expect to be said "Te sakam" (though we're always regarded as a kind attraction in discos, we could not be anything more than that in Kosovo. In Albanian night-club in Struga, some regarded us as guests. However, in terms of the function, disco did it's job only with Macedonian people)  

3,Lots of people

"How did you learn your Macedonian?" Usually, our Macedonian was very much appreciated. (Though Albanians tend to react similar, they're less sophisticated to treat such a situation)

4,Girls in Struga (16-year-old)

When we're passing by, "Cekaj" (wait!!), came towards us, and asked lots of questions in MACEDONIAN (usually Students in Skopje can speak better English). We and our language were quite appreciated.

"How many people in Struga?"...................................."MNOGU!! (many!!)"

5,The girls in Skopski Saem in September (17-year-old)

When I was challenging the best time in mine-sweeper, suddenly a girl pinched* my cheek, then her friends came. Asked me about our language. I was pretty appreciated and they expressed it even in physical ways. Since that day, our sympathy with Macedonia has become decisively strong. 

*Serbians, Albanians, Romanians, and Macedonians do this action with the existence which they feel big sympathy.

6,The girls (16-17 years old) in a concert in Skopje in September

When they saw us surrounded by gypsies (actually we're dancing with them), they talked to us and saved us from gypsies.

 

 7,A ski instructor in Mavrovo

"OK, I know students don't have money, I'll teach you how to ski for free"

 

Generally speaking, they are quite interested in Asian people and appreciated some part of our culture as great (at least, equal as them). Also they know how to treat different culture.
